Fifa World Cup 2026 Official Fan Experience in North bay

Canada is co-hosting the world’s largest sporting event alongside Mexico and the United States, we are excited to announce that North Bay has been selected as a participating community for Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ as part of the countrywide festivities surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026™ . Celebrations will be co-hosted at Nipissing University and Canadore College on Saturday July 11^th, 2026 featuring a live watch party for two highly anticipated quarter-final matches.

DATE: Saturday July 11^th, 2026

LOCATION: Nipissing University & Canadore College, 100 College Drive, North Bay

GAME TIMES: 5 pm & 9 pm E.T.

QUARTER FINAL MATCHES:

5 pm: Norway vs. England: Miami Stadium
9 pm: Argentina vs. Switzerland: Kansas City Stadium

FIFA World Cup Watch Party in North Bay

Viewing live World Cup quarterfinals matches in North Bay will be a once in a lifetime experience!

North Bay will come alive with activations, fan experiences, and cultural celebrations at this free, family friendly and open to the public, one-day community celebration.

Don’t miss out on your chance to watch the best football teams in the world compete for glory.

nORTH BAY event SITE MAP

PARKING:

There is limited general public and accesible parking noted in the map below for the Offical Fan Experience.

All other parking locations are in use for other events and you will not be allowed to park there.

The map also indicates drop off points for the general public, accessible and the shuttle service.

FREE SHUTTLE:

A free shuttle bus will run between the Ontario Government Building (447 McKeown Ave.) and the event site from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.

For most of the event, shuttles will arrive approximately every 7 minutes, with each trip taking about 5 minutes, depending on traffic.

NB: all regular city bus routes to the campus will continue to operate as per the normal schedule.

FAN EXPERIENCE

Wear your favourite teams colours and come check out the beer garden, grab a bite to eat from one of our local food vendors, and share your love of the game with fellow soccer fans.

With limited seating available, spectactors are encouraged to bring their own chairs and reusable water bottle.

FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES

Test your skills with these interactive activations including a control, passing and shotting challenge, and cheer on local soccer teams as they showcase their talent on the mini pitch.
