As Canada prepares to co-host the world’s largest sporting event alongside Mexico and the United States, we are excited to announce that North Bay has been selected as a participating community for Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ as part of the countrywide festivities surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026™ — with celebrations to be co-hosted at Nipissing University and Canadore College on Saturday July 11^th, 2026 which coincides with two highly anticipated quarter-final matches.

DATE: Saturday July 11^th, 2026

LOCATION: Nipissing University & Canadore College, 100 College Drive, North Bay

GAME TIMES: 5 pm & 9 pm E.T.

QUARTER FINAL MATCHES:

• 5 pm: Winners of Matches #91 & #92 : Miami
• 9 pm: Winners of Matches # 95 & #96 : Kansas City
