Private Course

Established in 1921 and designed by legendary Canadian architect Stanley Thompson, the North Bay Golf & Country Club is a private member-owned course that welcomes visiting golfers through its popular invitational tournaments and group event bookings—an opportunity to experience one of Northern Ontario’s finest courses.

Located on the escarpment overlooking the city, this 18-hole, par-72 championship course spans over 6,500 yards and features water in play on 13 holes. Known for its challenging, well-conditioned greens, the course rewards accuracy, and a high golf IQ.

The club has a proud history of hosting prestigious championships, including the 2023 Canadian Junior Boys Championship and the 2024 Ontario Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship. It also hosts the annual Bill Morland Invitational, a major event on the Northern Golf Association and Golf Ontario Order of Merit circuit.

Amenities include a pro shop, driving range, rental clubs, lessons, and an on-site restaurant. Tournament hosting, leagues, and event bookings are available.
