Drumming Circle Connection

We will start our group with a Circle: introducing ourselves to each other, and the meanings/connections of circles in our lives and the universe. Next, a smudge with Teachings to establish a safe and inclusive space. The story of the drum will be shared, along with teachings and etiquette. Guests will be introduced to 7 songs, which will be selected based on the demographics of the group. The group will return to the circle for cedar tea and bannock. Guests will then learn about the talking stick and be invited to create their own.
